Project description

Gauge theories describing simultaneously all the four interactions (strong, electromagnetic, weak and gravitational) between the physical fields are formulated, choosing the symmetry group G in a convenient way. Both internal and external (space-time) are considered. In order to obtain a quantum renormalizable theory we suppose that the base space-time M is of Minkowski type and that its structure is not affected by the presence of a field. The theories are formulated over a principal fibre bundle having G as structural group and M as base manifold. On this way, the symmetry group and the space-time are both included in the same geometrical structure. All the fields are described by gauge potentials, and their interactions are introduced in the model by means of the associated physical currents. The symmetry group G is chosen on the form SU(n) SO(p,q), in order to include in the theory both internal and external symmetries.
